A new Blackberry phone is seen at the Mobile World Congress, in Barcelona, Spain, Monday, Feb. 11, 2008. The congress, the largest wireless industry conference, is expected to bring together more than 50,000 industry executives from some 1,300 companies.
The company behind the BlackBerry smart phones said a three-hour e-mail outage Monday was caused by an upgrade designed to increase capacity.
The only thing funnier than the panic felt by millions of executives left with no option but to actually pay attention during meetings is the fact that it coincided with the device’s latest ad campaign, “Ask Someone Why They Love Their BlackBerry.” Read more…
